Nancy & Mark: May our Lord carry you through these days. "In the seed there is a flower... Unrevealed until its season, something God alone can see."

My mother has been Susie's roommate at "Our Lady of Mercy.I will definitely miss seeing Susie. Once I got to know her better, I began calling her "Sweet Susie" Even though there were times when she didn't understand what I was asking her or telling her there were other times, when her face would light up with this big smile and she would have this mischievous twinkle in her her eyes. She used to enjoy her night time snacks and spending her evenings in the dining room or at the nurse's station. I am glad that Susie is not in any pain now and I am sure that she is at peace and is in God's loving care. I also know that your mom /great/grandmother received wonderful care from everyone at OLOM especially her aide Rich. Please accept my sincere condolences. I also ask and affirm that you sense the loving embrace and strength of God at this time and also find comfort in the happy memories that you have shared with Susie.
