Eva M. Van Etten

Prattsville, NY- Eva M. Van Etten ,91 of Prattsville, NY died at her home on Wed. Nov. 14,2012 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 13, 1921 the daughter of Charles and Sophie Minew in Lexington, NY. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward Van Etten on Dec.7 1994. They were married on June 11, 1939. She is survived by her daughters, Pat Baresel of Mesa, Arizona,Mary Brockway(Dennis) of Hobart,NY and Nancy Olson (Donald) of Prattsville, NY. She is also survived by her sons Roger (Anna) of Maplecrest, NY Albert (Louise) of North Lexington, NY, Donald of West Shokan ,NY and David Van Etten of Hunter, NY. She was the loving grandmother of 14, the great-grandmother of 28 and the great-great grandmother of 2. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Fri. Nov.16,2012 from 10:00am-11:30am at Decker Funeral Home, Windham, NY. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:30am with the Rev. Elliot Oakes officiating. Interment will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery, Prattsville, NY. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to a local veterans association of your choosing.
