God looked down upon the earth and saw your tired face. He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest. He knew that you were suffering, he knew you were in pain, and he knew that you would never be well on earth again. He saw the road was getting rough and the hills were hard to climb, so he closed your weary eyelids and gave you wings to fly. It broke our hearts to lose you but you never went alone, for a part of us went with you the day God called you home. I love you grandpa, you will be missed. Im glad you got to meet all your great grandkids and they will always remember you as " candy man". You will always be remembered for the love you had for cats and the unborn.. R.I.P Grandpa!!!!!

I have known skip such a long time..And will miss seeing him around town.. My fondest memorie of skip was from back when he worked for cable and came to install for me i had car problems that day so i was not home when he came to do the hook up he phoned my parents home where i was stranded and i was upset i would have to cancel..knowing how bad it upset me he said he could squeeze himself thru the tiny little window at my apartment and hook it up if it was okay and ofcoarse i said yes...so he did just that he fit thru a window that most children would have a problem with and installed everything for me ....Skip was just the kind of guy who seemed to care enough to help out when at the time not having cable tv to a 19 year old girl was like the worst thing in the world....Ill never forget his smile and the way he loved to joke around....God got a great gift when he came to take skip home..

Memories I have many....Days when Skip was an officer of the Town of Hunter Police Dept. with Victor, Michael, Dana, Tom and my brother, Doug, the chief. Some 35 years ago and more memories since. He was a loving, warm great person. I hope that Skip, and my brother Doug are hoisting a few ...
