Guestbook

My Deepest Sympathy goes out to the Saddlemire family. Mrs. Saddlemire was a lovely women, compassionate and loving. She was my kindergarten teacher and through the years she never forgot "her kids"---She was alot of fun also when she went on our senior class trip to Virginia Beach in 1978 with us. She was loved deeply and will be missed just as deeply.

Well, What can be said a truly remarkable woman has gone home. I had the privilege to have known her all my life and always knew she was treasured by our family even more so my father (Gene)who had spent time on thier farm when he was 16. I know they have met again in a much better place and are enjoying each other's company again.. I reflect on all the years of spending time with the Saddlemire's and good times were had by all..Geez I'm gonna miss those Congo squares :)Aways YUMMY There wasn't time that she wouldn't visit without them Always made with love:) So many accomplishments she had made over the years we couldn't even begin to fathom in this day and age or even try to come even close. Bud,Laura,Andy,Georgene,Alec,Eileen,Allen,Jeanette,Alden,Kathie I know when she went home she was met by the words "WELL DONE GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT WELCOME HOME" She will be missed until the day we meet again.. To the Saddlemire Family, Please accept our condolences. While your Mom was not my kindergarten teacher, my memory of her in her classroom across the hall from Mrs. Risley still seems like just yesterday rather than, hmmm, is it 53 years ago already? I know both your Mom and Dad were good friends of our Mom and Dad, and recall well they all had a great sense of humor (except when I think your Mom had to stop a few apple throwing fights-Andy-or was that at the Wolfords'?) Your Mom like ours will be remembered for many things, but I think both mostly for their selfless care for others, especially for children. Your Mom gave the wonderful gift of her talents to so many, and lived a rich life of enriching others, and that's a greater lesson. God bless, and with warm regards to all, The Willsey Family Alan, David, Krista, Terry, Brian & Joanne

My thoughts and best wishes are with the family. I worked many years with Frieda's son Alden Saddlemire and heard many stories about the family. She lived a long, prosperous and full life. God Bless.
