Gerd Remmers was a very special friend. He and my husband, Rex Pryor, were in school together in Schoharie. They were also part of the "Thursday lunch" group of others and had been pals for a lifetime. Rex and I both appreciate hisvibrant personality, his sincere loyalty and his vast intelligence. We will all miss him. Marie Pryor
