Jean A. Richardson

Jean A. Richardson, a resident of Albany, NY, passed away Monday the 21st of March 2016 in the comfort of her home. Jean was born in Albany, NY on August 10, 1932 to Wilbur Rhenow and Mae Matilda Small. Prior to settling down in Guilderland, NY she spent a few years traveling the country with her husband George during his service in the United States Armed Forces. Upon returning to the Capital Region, she maintained a successful career as an administrative assistant and office manager, including work with AAA and St. Anne's Institute. Jean was an intelligent woman who enjoyed reading, cooking, bird watching, and discussing current events. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, loved animals, and had a witty sense of humor. Jean is pre-deceased by her loving husband of over sixty years (George), a daughter (Brenda), and a son (Michael). She is survived by her daughter-in-law (Joanne), granddaughter (Kate), and grandson (Scott). Calling hours will be held on Wednesday the 23rd of March from 5-7pm at Frenendall Funeral Home in Altamont, NY. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to remember Jean A.
