Jennifer A. Scott

Jennifer Ann Scott, the daughter of Robert and Paula Scott, passed away in Orangeburg, NY on June 4, 2017 at the age of 49. Born in Rochester, NY, she grew up in Ft. Myers Beach, Florida and received a degree in Journalism from the University of Florida. Her love of writing led to many published articles and a children's book Love Finds a Way. She was also an accomplished photographer. Her second great love was animals and her adoptions included dogs, cats and a ferret named Gizmo. She is survived by her siblings Cynthia (Abraham) Ofer, Lizanne (Thomas) Perchoux, Robert (Lesley) Scott, nephews Joshua (Jennifer) Fisher, Kyle Scott, niece Michelle Scott, uncles and many cousins. A service will be held at Unity of Ft. Myers, FL on June 24th at 1pm and there will be a second memorial service and burial in Windham, NY later this summer.
