Joan Fitzgerald

Joan Fitzgerald, born October 3, 1945 in Glens Falls NY, passed away on May 4, 2016 at the age of 70. She was the beloved daughter of the late Edward M. and Doris K. Fitzgerald and sister of the late Diane R. Fitzgerald. Joan graduated from Linton High School, class of 1963. She worked at Ellis Hospital as a Senior L.P.N. Joan married Walter W. Bullis in 1968. They made their home in Schenectady, NY. She was an avid reader and loved science fiction movies. Survivors include her daughter Teri Thomas (Patrick), son John Bullis (Jeny) and niece Michelle Harrell (Eric.) She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren Jazmin, Jesika, Jaqui Rose, Iain, Erica and Alexis. The family will receive visitors on Friday, May 6 at Fredendall Funeral Home, 199 Main St. Altamont, NY 12009 from 5-7 p.m. with a brief prayer service starting at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joan's memory to The Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital, 315 S. Manning Blvd., Albany, NY, 12208.
