John Philip Justus

West Kill, NY-John Philip Justus passed away on Saturday June 18,2016 at the age of 75.He was born and raised in the Bronx, NY. He retired from Plumbers Local 1 Union in New York City. In 1964 he found West Kill, NY where he enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. In 1979 he purchased his home in West Kill that was his pride and joy. JJ's pig roasts were always great. Later in his retired life he spent winters in Daytona Beach Shores, Florida where the ocean was his backyard and he enjoyed fishing there. He leaves behind the love of his life, his wife Joy Justus, two brothers, two sisters, nieces and nephews and friends. Rest in peace John, you are already missed. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on July 6, 2016 at St. Theresa's R.C. Church, Windham NY at 11:00am. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Decker Funeral Home, Windham NY.
