Kathleen E. Bright

d. January 12, 2021

KNOX- Kathleen Eileen Bright passed away peacefully in the early morning hours on Tuesday, January 12, 2021. She was in her home with family at her side.

Originally from London, England, Kathleen moved to the United States with her loving husband and family in 1963.  After raising five children, Kathleen attended the State University of New York at Albany and earned a bachelor's degree in English.

A popular member of the Rockport Art Association, Kathleen was a skilled potter and prolific painter of watercolors.  She also loved to travel, and her home is full of vibrant watercolor paintings of scenery, people, and landmarks from all over the world.

Kathleen was also an avid horseback rider, gardener, and reader, but, above all, she was a dedicated wife and mother, and during her retirement years, Kathleen enjoyed bird watching with her grandson and teaching her granddaughter how to paint.

The void created by her passing will be filled with the beautiful memories she left behind and her positive influence on the lives of family and friends.
