Mary German

Catskill NY: Mary Ann German, 81, of Catskill NY, died peacefully on December 6 2012 at The Pines Nursing Home. She was born March 25 1931 in New York City to Robert Carpenter and Mary McGoldrick. She was predeceased by her husband Harold aka Jake German and her sister Grace Hannigan (nee Carpenter). She is survived by her daughters Betty Lou Osborne (nee German) of WV, Rosemary Welch (nee German) and husband Larry of HI, and Maria Ann Stone (nee German) of NY. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, her sister in law Josephine Tompkins, and several nieces and nephews. A mass will be celebrated at St. Theresa's RC Church, Windham NY, on Friday December 14 2012 at 11:30AM. Interment will follow in the Windham Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Decker Funeral Home, Windham NY.
