Matthew Walter Pruskowski

Guilderland - Matthew Walter Pruskowski, died on April 25, 2011, four days before his 87th birthday. Born in Schenectady, he was the son of the late Charles and Helen Pruskowski. At the core of all remembrances, his strong will and determination were expressed until his death. He survived living on the farm alone by the devotion of his only son Garry and his special caregiver Yvonne. Marcia his daughter brought him joy from the grandchildren and great grandchildren. The tradition of farming was continued by his grandson, Loren who established a small vineyard on the farmland. He is also survived by two sisters Diana O'Hare and Frieda Matvalwicz. His is predeceased by his two brothers Stanley and Edwin. Friends may call on Thursday April 28, 2011 from 5 PM to 8 PM at the Fredendall Funeral Home, Altamont. A private interment will be held in the Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
