Michael Reynolds

Michael J. Reynolds, 73, passed away on January 10, 2012, at his home in Fort Myers, FL. Mike was born and raised in New York City and graduated from Manhattan College. He started his career with New York Life Insurance Company and later with Frank B. Hall, ultimately becoming President of the consulting company. He spent a short time as Executive Vice President of AON in San Francisco following the FBH merger. He became President and CEO of the Pentegra Group in White Plains, NY, until his retirement in 2002.During his career he was a member of the Board of Trustees of the New York School of Optometry and a member of the Board of Directors of the Employee Benefit Research Institute in Washington, DC. He was proudly serving on the Board of Directors of the Windham Country Club as Secretary. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife, Sue; children Amy Reynolds, Katie (Gregory) Karanastasis and Michael Reynolds; grandsons Kyle, Tyler and Jake Karanastasis; siblings Sr. Kathleen Reynolds, Thomas Reynolds, John (Eileen) Reynolds and Ann (Michael) McNeila. Calling hours will be held at Decker Funeral Home in Windham, NY, on Sunday, January 15, from 2-4 & 7-9. A memorial service will be held at 11am on Monday, January 16, at St. Theresa's RC Church in Windham. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Hope Hospice, 1201 Wings Way, Lehigh Acres, FL 33936.
