Michael S. Slingerland

Knox- Michael S. Slingerland, 52, died suddenly at his home Wednesday September 9th, 2015. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend who will be greatly missed. He loved riding his motorcycle with his wife Lindy, and many good friends in the summer months and riding his snowmobile in the winter months. He is survived by his wife Lindy of 28 years; Two sons, Shawn & Cory; Two daughters, Shannon & Nicole; Two grandsons, Christopher & Orion; his granddaughter Madison and soon to be grand-baby. He is also survived by his brothers and sister, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, in-laws and many friends. He is predeceased by his parents James Slingerland and Dolores Slingerland Curro, his step-father Joseph Curro, his sister Traci Slingerland Lee and his son Ryan Slingerland. A Funeral service will be held on Monday at 7:30 pm at the Fredendall Funeral Home, Altamont. Calling hours will be prior to the service from 5- 730 pm.
