Pasquale Giordano

Jewett-Pasquale (Ziggy) Giordano died on June 22,2014 after a long courageous battle at St. Peters Hospital. He was born May 13, 1930 at home in Brooklyn, NY to Luigi and Concetta Palma Giordano. He married Dorothy Soule on June 9, 1956 at St. Theresa's Church in Windham,NY. He is survived by his wife Dorothy, and their three sons, Louis, John and Robin and Patrick and his wife Nisalda Carreiro. He was a grandfather to John Michael, Kaitlyn May, and Quinn Patrick. He is also survived by his sister Rose Lani and brother and sister in law Clarence and Jeanie Soule as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews. He loved his family and looked forward to deer hunting, especially with his sons and Clarence. He was dedicated to peace, love and devotion to his family and all others. He was predeceased by his brother Michael and sister Frances Bogle. He was a charter member of the Jewett Fire Department since 1960. He worked for Winchells Gas Corp. for 15 years, and Windham Ashland Jewett Central School as a bus driver and custodian for 16 years. At his request there will be no viewing or services held. Burial will be in Lexington Village Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Decker Funeral Home, Windham New York. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Jewett Fire Department or St. Theresa's Church.
