Roberta J. Vining

Roberta Jean Vining, resident of Maplecrest, NY, went to be with her Lord while at home surrounded by her family,Thursday November 21, 2013. A viewing will be held Monday November 25, from 6:00-8:00pm at Decker Funeral Home, Windham NY. A Celebration of Life Service will be at 6:00pm on Friday, November 29, at Mitchell Hollow Mission Church, 893 Mill Street, Windham. Roberta worked as a teacher's assistant at Windham Ashland Jewett Central School for over fifteen years. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Gilbert L. Vining of Maplecrest; son and daughter-in-law, Gilbert J. and Dawn Vining of Gilbertsville, PA; son and daughter-in-law, Ronald R. and Leann Vining of Powell, WY; daughter and son-in-law Ruth and Dennis Welch of Coxsackie, NY; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations are being accepted in memory of Roberta at the Mitchell Hollow Mission Church, Windham.
