Shirley Mae Benfield

Stamford,NY-Shirley Mae Brandt Benfield,74 formerly of the Windham mountaintop died on Feb.23,2011 at Robinson Terrace Nursing Home, Stamford, NY. She was born on Sept. 24,1936 the daughter of Erwin and Lena Mae Brandt in Jewett, NY. She is survived by her loving daughter and son in law Laura and Kevin Chase,her three grandchildren Elizabeth,Zachary and Sarah Chase. She is also survived by her brother Christopher Brandt and her sister Patricia Newby Phillips and her uncle and aunt Everett and Joan Brandt. She was predeceased by her sister Connie. Calling hours will be held at Decker Funeral Home,Windham, NY on Friday Feb. 25,2011 from 7-9pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Sat.Feb.26,2011 at 12noon with Pastor Al Bugos officiating. Interment will take place in the spring.
