Steven Francis Harrington

Altamont- Steven Francis Harrington, 74, died suddenly on Sunday, October 18, 2015. He was the son of the late Renard and Dorothy nee Cadarr Harrington, born on November 18, 1940 in Fort Edward, NY. Steven served in the US Air Force in Alaska at the time of the earthquake and at Buzzards Bay (1961-1964). He married the love of his life Beverly on August 8, 1964 and together they moved to Altamont, NY. He was employed by GE for several years and then joined the Guilderland Pump Sales and Service, Inc/ Dick Ferraioli Inc. and worked as a water well contractor until 2000. Steven is survived by his wife Beverly; daughter Stephanie M. Harrington and her husband Robert Kalinowski; his sister Margaret Pike; brother-in-law John (Kim) Crouse; sister-in-law Janis (Leonard) Berschwinger ; nieces and nephews: Ann Harrington, Cindy Harrington, Craig and Stacy Harrington, Chris Harrington, David and Jodi Harrington, Romy and Thomas Maynard, Leonard and Marie Durham, Merrill and Pat Durham, Loran and Kathy Chapman, Eugene and Mary Archambeault, Dorothy Belair, Steven and Kathy Hazzard, Harold Hazzard, Joseph and Pat Walkup, Robert and Jackie Walkup, Edward and Jodene Walkup, Irene Walkup, Rena and Walter Stevens, Gary Walkup, Norris and Holly Pike, Christine and Joseph D'Angelico, Thomas, Beth Ann, James, Jim Harrington, David Lunt, Melody and Paul Goetz, GJ Jones; many grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins and many great friends. He was predeceased by his brothers and sister-in-laws Thomas (Alvina), Seward (Jane), Robert (Daryl) and Harold Harrington; sisters and brother-in-laws Ruth and Joseph Walkup, Irene and Eugene Durham, Louise and Ray Hazzard, Jean and Leo Russell, Shirley and John Chapman, Carol and Raymond Lunt and Norris Pike; and three infant females. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 from 4PM-7PM at Fredendall Funeral Home, 199 Main Street, Altamont. Interment will be on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at 10:30AM at Gerald B. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Rd., Schuylerville, NY.
