Virginia Becker

New Scotland- Virginia Becker, 81, of New Scotland passed away peacefully at home on August 27, 2016. She was born on April 16, 1935 in Albany NY the daughter of Elmer and Martha (nee Tallman) Van Alstyne. She was predeceased by her husband of 32 years, Frank Becker Jr. in 2007. She is survived by her daughter Deborah (Barnes) and son-in-law Kenneth Storm; her sister-in-law Alice Becker Haskell; grandchildren Ronald Jr. and Lawrence Frank Le Favour Sr.; five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Virginia loved to crochet and was a wonderful cook; she also loved a good party. Calling hour will be held on Friday September 2, 2016 from 9-10AM with a service to follow at 10AM at Fredendall Funeral Home, 199 Main St. Altamont, NY. Interment will be at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery, New Salem, NY. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Virginia's memory to the New Scotland Presbyterian Church, 2010 New Scotland Rd, Slingerlands, NY 12159.
