Alan Paul Rudzinskas

East Berne- Alan P. Rudzinskas, 61, died peacefully on January 11, 2017 at home after a brief illness with his wife by his side. He was born in Bronx, NY on August 20, 1955 and moved to Voorheesville as a young boy. He graduated from Voorheesville High School and worked for many years with the Local 190 Union and then worked for the Eastern NY Laborer's Training Center Inc in Glenmont, NY Alan was an avid motorcyclist and enjoyed rebuilding, restoring and racing Kawasaki motorcycles. He was a generous and loving person. He was always ready to lend a helping hand. Alan loved animals and kids. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his loving wife Dyan Rudzinskas whom he married on Valentine's Day 2001; his stepson Denis Richard Lewis; granddaughter Shaina Lewis; his brothers Robert Houck (Elaine) and Victor Jr.; his sisters Cathy Handy, Anna Mohan and Haidee Smith (Richard); and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2017 from 2-4PM with a funeral service to follow at 4PM; Fredendall Funeral Home, 199 Main Street, Altamont.
