Arthur Harold Falke

Prattsville - Arthur H.Falke, 87, died on Saturday April 7, 2012 suddenly after a brief illness. Born on August 30, 1924 in Queens, NY, he was the son of the late Joseph and the late Else Falke. He served in the US Army during World War II. He worked as a carpenter for Falke Construction. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 53 years, Gertrude Falke and his son Peter Falke. Arthur is survived by three children, Arthur Falke Jr. and his wife Jean, Andrew Falke and his wife Kathleen, Alice Wynkoop and her husband Cleland; 7 Grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Wednesday April 11, 2012 at 7:30 PM at Decker Funeral Home, Windham. Friends may call Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7:30pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Arthur's memory to either the Lexington Mission or the Hunterfield Christian Training Center.
