Caleb Dewitt Grippin

Grippin, Caleb Dewitt - Cobleskill Caleb Dewitt Grippin of Cobleskill, passed away unexpectedly March 15th, 2023, in Cooperstown. Born March 23rd, 1990, he was the son of Kim Grippin and Jeffrey (Lynn Wilson) Grippin. Beloved father of River Borthwick - Grippin.

Caleb rode his bicycle from Central Bridge NY to San Francisco California with two friends, 82 days,3853 miles. He loved the outdoors and helping his uncle during syrup season. He was a singer songwriter and guitarist. He loved to read and to play golf. He adored his life with Erika. He was a loving son, devoted father and loyal friend. 

In addition to his parents and his son, Caleb is survived by his brother Jacob Grippin; paternal Grandmother Pauline (Late Gerald) Grippin and step siblings. Also survived by his companion Ericka Price and her son Finley, as well as host of extended family, friends, and musician friends.

Family and friends are invited to visit with Caleb's family on Sunday March 19th from 2-5pm in the Fredendall Funeral Home 199 Main Street Altamont.
