Christine T. Cammer

SLINGERLANDS- Christine T. Cammer of Slingerlands, New York, passed peacefully on June 2, 2019. 

 She was attending Syracuse University when she met the love of her life, Chilton M. Cammer. They married in 1951. 

Christine loved picnicking, camping, skiing, hiking, and bird watching. She was an avid gardener, golfer, seamstress, Scrabble player, photographer, and sang in choirs. Christine painted tin and wood in a folk art style, refinished furniture, worked with stained glass, and made candles. She was a great letter writer and kept in touch with her many friends and family.   Christine is survived by Chilton and their five children: Cheryl, Cynthia, Charles, Christopher, and David. She made memorable occasions for her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by several nephews and nieces.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2019 from 12PM – 1PM at the Windham United Methodist Church, 5296 Main Street, Windham. A funeral service to follow at 1PM. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Decker Funeral Home, Windham, NY.
