Dawn Kimberly Gibson

Dawn Kimberly Gibson of Voorheesville passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany. She was 46.

Born on November 28, 1979 in Poughkeepsie, daughter of David L. (Mary) Douglass and the late Deborah Owen Douglass (late Bill Swart).

Dawn obtained her Bachelors Degree and worked as an Outtake Service Coordinator for CDPC in Albany. She was passionate about Kenneth’s Army as it was very close to her heart.

Survivors include her sons, Austin Gibson (Shamara Khan) and Avery Gibson and her brother David R. Douglass.

A celebration of life will be held by her family at a later date.
