Delwin C. Shaver Jr.

Delwin C. Shaver Jr. of Duanesburg died unexpectedly in a motor vehicle collision on Sunday September 14. On Sunday morning Del (Delly, DJ) lost his life tragically and suddenly alongside his fiancé Sybil Laraway.

Del was always the life of the party, fun loving, carefree, devoted father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. Del was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also loved farming and was always tinkering around on his work truck. Del drove truck all his life. He took great pride in all of these; he was most relaxed being in the woods hunting in the hill towns. 

Del was Pre-deceased by his father Delwin C. Shaver Sr. Del is survived by his 3 sons Gabriel C. Shaver (Sienna) of Lake Elsinore California, Alexander B. Shaver of Clifton Park, NY and Zachary M. Shaver (Andrea) of Watervliet, NY. His Mother Joyce Darrow of Duanesburg, NY, his Sister Sally Winne of Amsterdam, NY, Morgan Lindstead of Gainesville, Florida and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited and may visit with Del's family on Friday September 19th 4-7pm in the Fredendall Funeral Home, 199 Main Street, Altamont.
