Michaels, Dennis - East Berne

Dennis Michaels longtime resident of East Berne passed away peacefully in Albany on Sunday May 25,2025 with his loving family by his side. Son of the late Daniel Sr. and Sophie Mach Michaels.

A talented carpenter, Dennis retired from the local 370 carpenter union. An avid camper and bike rider, Dennis enjoyed the outdoors and music. Dennis enjoyed time his family.

Dennis is survived by his daughters Christine (Geoffrey) Hayden and Denise (Geoffrey) Hoffman, his grand children Lindsey and Nicole Hayden, and Tegan Hoffman. Additionally Dennis is survived by his brother Daniel (Shirley) Michaels Jr. and a host of nieces and nephews.

Dennis is predeceased by his siblings Diane, Darlene, Douglas, Dean and infant brother Donny.

Family and friends are invited to visit with Dennis's family in the Fredendall Funeral Home, 199 Main Street, Altamont on Thursday May 29th 5-7pm. A funeral service will be celebrated for Dennis in the funeral home on Friday May 30th at 10am with interment immediately following in Woodlawn Cemetery, Berne.
