Dennis M. Schmidt

Dennis M. Schmidt entered into rest on Wednesday, May 27, 2026. He was 64 years old. The son of Lawrence and Faye Schmidt, he was born on September 4, 1961, in Manhattan, NY.

Dennis wore many hats when it came to work. He was employed by Allcare Transportation, Schupps Line Construction and Woodstock Lake Association to name a few. An avid hunter, Dennis loved spending his time outdoors. He was a fan of NASCAR with Dale Earnhardt being his favorite.

Dennis was predeceased by his wife, Bonnie J. Lee Schmidt, whom he adored with all his heart. He was stepfather to Tracy Furman of Altamont and Ben Furman of Voorheesville. He is survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law Bruce Lee, Brian and Patti Lee and Denise Stalaker all of Westerlo.

At Dennis's request there will be no visitation or services. Just remember him in your own way and smile because he was a part of your life.
