Diane P. O'Connor

Diane P. O'Connor, long-time resident of Altamont, passed away peacefully in Albany on April 12th, 2024, with her loving family by her side. Daughter of the late Robert and Lorena Carpenter Fenzel and beloved wife of Bruce whom she married March 3, 1973.

A graduate of Linton High School and Ellis School of Nursing, Diane worked in nursing care until the birth of her first child. Diane took pride in her family and will be fondly remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

In addition to her husband Bruce, Diane is survived by her children Daniel (Deb), David (Patti), and Megan (Andrew), grandchildren Kavi, Kiran, Annalise, Stella, and Martin, and her long-time friend Shirley Neet.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on April 20th, 2024, at 10 am in St Lucy/St. Bernadette Catholic Church, Grand Street, Altamont, followed by interment in Fairview Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to visit Diane's family in the Fredendall Funeral Home, 199 Main Street, Altamont, on Friday, April 19th, from 6-8 pm.
