Eileen Purdy

Eileen J. Yoeckel Purdy, 87, passed away on Monday, May 21 at Albany Medical Center after a short illness. Eileen is survived by her husband, Calvin, a sister and brother both of Florida and their beloved dog, Mo. The Purdys became residents of Windham/Ashland several years ago after retiring and moving from New Jersey. Eileen is most noted for her work as a Cornell Graduate Master Gardner. Also Eileen was a great addition to the community, always the first to help anyone in need. She loved life to the fullest. A funeral mass will be offered on Wednesday, May 30th at 9:30 am at St. Theresa RC Church in Windham followed by a reception in the church hall.
