Ernest J. Ecker

Delray Beach, FL - Ernest J. Ecker, 87, formerly of Knox died on Sunday January 17, 2010. He was a graduate of the Berne Knox Westerlo High School where he taught for 30 years retiring in 1984. He is survived by his wife of 59 years Elena (nee Martin) Ecker; children, Michael (Patti) Ecker, Vaughn (Rita) Ecke, Gina (Tom) Slater and Mary-Chris (Ted) O'Hearn; 9 grandchildren. An interment will be at 10 am on Friday, January 29, 2010 in Schenectady Memorial Park followed by a calling hour from 11 to 12 pm at the First Reformed of Berne then a memorial service at 12 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Ernest's memory to a charity of one's choice.
