Fay Gardner

GARDNER, Fay Ellen ALTAMONT Fay Ellen Gardner passed away on October 26, 2021. Fay was born on December 9, 1936, in Ticonderoga, NY, the daughter of Clyde and Myrtle Musser. In addition to her parents, Fay was predeceased by her husband, Charles W. Gardner, Jr. and her cousin, Robert Musser. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Twaddell (Russell) and sons, Charles W. Gardner III and Dennis C. Gardner, and grandchildren, Kristen Gannon (Michael) and Matthew Twaddell. She is also survived by her cousin, Joan (Musser) Stone, and the children of her beloved cousins. After graduating from Guilderland High School, she traveled with her husband to France while he served in the U.S. Army before returning to Altamont to raise their family. In addition to raising their children she took on a variety of part-time jobs, & enjoyed volunteering & helping others, but her family was always the center of her life. Services at Fredendall Funeral Home were private. Interment was in the Prospect Hill Cemetery in Guilderland. Contributions in her memory may be sent to the Altamont Reformed Church, P.O.
