East Durham,NY John T. Schiefer Sr. of East Durham, NY formerly of Maplecrest, NY died at Columbia Memorial Hospital, Hudson, NY on 2-13-11. He was born on Sept. 17,1942 in Norristown, PA the son of Francis and Dorothy Schiefer. He is survived by his wife Carol, his children John T. Jr. (Sharyl),Joseph (Jawea) and Carol (Timothy) Decker. He is also survived by his 9 grandchildren, 1 great grand child, and his buddy "Cooper". Calling hours will be held on Tues. 2-15-11 at Decker Funeral Home, Windham, NY from 6-8pm. A funeral service will follow at 8PM. Interment will follow in the spring.
