Altamont- John R. Van Wormer,75, died on Monday, December 28, 2020. He was born in Schenectady to the late Willard and Doris Van Wormer.
John owned and operated John Van Wormer Septic Service for many years. He enjoyed being involved with the Altamont Fair and the Auto Museum there. He loved antiques cars.
He is survived by his daughter Katherine and her husband Larry Kalisz; his son Joshua Van Wormer; his grandchildren Ashlee Moore, Megan Kalisz and Dustin Kalisz; his sister Kathy Wingle.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, January 4, 2021 from 11am-1pm at Fredendall Funeral Home, 199 Main Street, Altamont, with interment at Schenectady Memorial Park at 1:30pm.
