Joseph G. Nagle, 58, of Glenville, died Sunday, April 15, at the Samuel A. Stratton VA Medical Center in Albany. Born in Niskayuna, he was the son of the late Robert and Barbara (Baker) Nagle. He was the husband of Pamela (Huston) Nagle and the father of James Nagle, US Navy currently deployed in Bahrain, and Jill (Richard) Neste of Hilton Head, SC. He was the brother of Kathleen (Mac) Squires of Greenwich, Daniel (Christine) Nagle of Galway, and Mary (Michael) Bilka of Niskayuna. Joe is also survived by three grandchildren, Richard, Abigail and Ryan Neste of Hilton Head; as well as several nieces and nephews. Mr. Nagle was a graduate of Scotia-Glenville High School. He was a veteran of the United States Army and attended both Fulton Montgomery Community College as well as the US Army Engineering School. Over the years, Joe worked as a sales estimator for several area construction companies. Most recently, with Apple Home Improvement and Huff & Puff Insulators, both in Schenectady and RM Penna Windows in Burnt Hills. His family will remember him as a loving father and husband. A memorial service will be held in Joe's honor, Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Fredendall Funeral Home, 199 Main Street in Altamont. Friends and relatives are invited to attend. The family will receive visitors on Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m.. Interment, with military honors, will take place on Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville, NY. Memorial contributions may be made in Joe's memory to Fisher House Foundation, Inc., 111 Rockville Pike, Suite 420, Rockville, MD 20850.
