Joyce E. Moons

Knox - Joyce E. Moons, 74, died suddenly on Saturday, May 12, 2012 after a long illness. Born on October 20, 1937 in Cranford, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Edmund and the late Mary Kuntzman. She was a registered nurse and received a nursing degree from Muhlenberg Hospital in Plainfield, New Jersey. Most of her life she spent as a homemaker. Joyce is survived by her husband of 52 years Robert H. Moons of Knox, NY; three sons: Robert S. (Patricia) Moons of Oxnard, CA, William R. (Dawn) Moons of East Berne, NY, and John D. (Bernice) Moons of East Berne, NY; three grandchildren: Matthew and Jacob Moons of Oxnard, CA, and Ila Kochan of East Berne, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12PM on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at St. Lucy's / St. Bernadette's Church, Altamont. Friends may call Friday May 18, 2012 from 5 PM to 8 PM at the Fredendall Funeral Home, Altamont.
