For those who had the joy of knowing Karen, you were truly blessed to feel the warmth, kindness, and boundless love she so effortlessly gave. And for those who knew her best, you know she was a quiet warrior-strong, resilient, and full of grace.
Karen's presence brought peace, her love held the family together, and thanks to her, home was always more than just a place-it was where we belonged. The heart of the home was her and through her cooking and baking, she spread her love.
In addition to the many adventures shared on family vacations, she was always chasing new journeys-often escaping into the pages of a book whenever she had the chance. Her love for reading was inspiring and Karen's dedication to expanding her knowledge was admirable. These highlighted attributes are something all should strive for, but I guarantee that no one will hold a light in comparison.
She had a light that touched everyone she met-whether through her words of encouragement, her unwavering support, or simply the way she listened. That light does not go out. It lives on in the values she passed down, the memories we treasure, and the lives she shaped.
Her laughter, her strength, and the quiet way she held everything together created a foundation of love and warmth that we will carry with us always. Karen will always be found in the next sunset, the next sea breeze felt, in the blooming flowers-in every quiet moment when the world softens and the heart remembers.
