Karen L. Edson

Knox- Karen L. Edson went home to be with the Lord on 2/11/2013. She was born in Bergen County, NJ on November 12, 1933 to Charles and Thelma Blaser. Karen was an accomplished musician who taught many students piano and voice lessons over a 25 year period. She was the founder and director of the Hilltown Gospel Singers, as well as the organist and choir director for both the Knox and South Berne Church. She will be greatly missed for her enormous talent. Karen is survived by her husband George of 53 years; her daughters, Lori (Steven) Antal, Stacey (SFC Paul US Army ret.) McArdle and her son Richard Edson; her grandchildren, Jennifer, Lisa and fiancé Ernie, and Kevin Antal, Drew and John McArdle. She is predeceased by her parents and four brothers. Memorial service and burial will follow in the spring. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the Knox Reformed Church. www.fredendallfuneralhome.com
