Lars U. De La Cour

EAST BERNE- Lars Ulrick Hoffman Dornonville de la Cour died peacefully at his home next to Heldeberg Lake on his 85th birthday, June 23, 2010. He was born in Sakskobing, Denmark and immigrated to the US in 1948 to begin a long career in the horse business, for more than 50 years he was the farm manager of Clovelly Farms in Lexington, KY. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Gunvor; three children, Rick (Linda), Anina (Charlie) and Niels (Sarah); four grandchildren, Gunner, Lucy, Ross and Kyra. A memorial service will be held at 5 PM on Saturday July 3, 2010 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Berne. Friends may call prior at the church from 3 to 5 PM.
