Leornard H. Mallory

East Jewett,NY-Leonard H. Mallory,91 died on April 13,2016 . He was born on March 11,1925 the son of Harold and Mildred (nee Northrup) Mallory in EastJewett, NY. He is survived by his wife of 67 years Mary Jean (nee Brooker) Mallory. He is also survived by his sons Bill and Bob. He was the proud grandfather of Todd,Merci,Theresa,Kimberly,Jessica,Lianna and Evan. He was the greatgrandfather of Mallory,Danielle,Spencer,Olivia,Theresa,Maximus,Kristia,Madison and Macklin. He also is survived by his great great grandson Owen. Len was aWWII Veteran of the United States Army having served from 1944-1946. He was a plumber and he owned and operated Lens Plumbing for many years. He also was a water inspector for the City of New York. Len was an avid sportsman with a strong competitive spirit. He was a member of the Windham Country Club where he enjoyed many rounds of golf over the years. He also was a former member of the Windham Country Club Board of Directors. A graveside service will be held on Saturday April 23,2016 at 11:00am at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Ashland, NY. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Decker Funeral Home, Windham, NY.
