Linnea E. Middleton

Linnea E. Middleton, 85, of East Jewett, New York, formerly of Oakland, NJ, passed away on March 22, 2018, of natural causes. Linnea was born in New York City to George and Linnea Geiling on January 29, 1933. She married Robert J. Middleton on March 21, 1953, and was a wife, a mother of four, and later in life went back to school to pursue a career in nursing where she worked at Bergen Pines hospital for over 15 years. She is remembered for her love of animals and nature, love of reading and wry sense of humor. Linnea is survived by Robert J. Middleton of East Jewett, NY; her spouse of 65 years, her four children, Raymond, Laura (Martin) Blanden, Elisabeth (Kevin) Kelly, and Robert (Kris), their nine grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Decker Funeral Home in Windham, New York on April 7, 2018 from 1-3 pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to your local animal shelter.
