Margaret A. Ferraioli

Princetown - Margaret Anne Quinn Ferraioli, 82, passed away peacefully in her sleep early Monday, October 15, 2012. Margaret (Peg) was born December 1, 1929 in Elizabeth, N.J., the daughter of the late Harry T. and Marie R. Quinn. She graduated from Milne High School and St. Peter's Hospital School of Nursing. She worked as an R.N. at Veteran's Hospital in Ashville, NC and in Albany. Margaret was a faithful helpmate to her husband Richard "Dick" Ferraioli, an established water well contractor until his death in 1998. She was a woman of indomitable spirit, always generous with her time helping extended family and friends in the community. She found joy in creative projects including sewing and quilting. She drew great strength and comfort from her faith. She is survived by her children, Antonio of West Berne, Joanne Darling of Pattersonville, Patricia Ferraioli of Saratoga, James of Albany, Barbara Ferraioli of Midlothian, VA, Timothy of Princetown, Daniel, and Martha Thompson of Spotsylvania, VA; Sisters-in-law Geri Quinn, Anna Wilson and Frances Ferraioli; nine grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Doris Quinn and brother Harry "Ted" Quinn Jr., and sons Robert and Peter Ferraioli. Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Sunday, October 21, 2012 at Fredendall Funeral Home 199 Main St., Altamont, NY from 2-4PM with a memorial service to follow at 4PM. In Margaret's memory, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
