Margaret J. Steiner

Altamont- Margaret J. Steiner, 90, died on Monday, June 13, 2016 at St. Peter's Hospital. She was born in Boston, MA on March 16, 1926 to Albert and Winfred (nee Roden) Dykes. Margie worked at the NYS Museum in Albany, NY for 20 years as a teacher. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Altamont. Margie was a lover of all animals and she would spread her love to everyone she met. She is predeceased by her son Frank J. Steiner. She is survived by two nieces, Gloria Jean and Charlene; her loving friends the Sanderson Family and Bob and Lynn Paska. A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 17, 2016 at 7PM at Fredendall Funeral Home, 199 Main Street, Altamont . In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Margaret's memory to a humane society or animal shelter of your choice.
