Roberta Zegel

ASHLAND NY: Roberta Zegel, 88, a lifelong resident of Ashland died on Wednesday Novemeber 25th at Columbia Memorial Hospital. She was born on March 13 1927, the daughter of Leonard and Esther (nee Tuttle) Layman. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Robert Zegel, her children Donald, Joan, and Lynn Chenowith. She was predeceased by her loving grandson Gregory Zegel. Calling hours will be on Monday, November 30th from 11am to 12:30 pm at the Ashland Community Church, with a funeral service at 12:30 pm. The internment will follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Ashland NY.
