Sally J. McClaine

Sally J. McClaine 84 of Princetown died peacefully and went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on Monday evening July 21, 2025.

Born in Schenectady N.Y. , Sally was a resident of Princetown where she lived most of her life. She graduated from Schalmont High School and attended Central College in Pella Iowa with a bachelors in psychology. She also had her Masters Degree in education. She was a lifelong member of Princetown Church. She was involved in bible studies, small groups, choir and Sunday school. She was a preschool teacher for 17 years at Princetown Preschool and had a love for teaching children.

Sally is survived by her children Steven McClaine and Suzanne Rickard. She will be missed by her sons-in-law Richard Phillips and Darrick Rickard along with 8 grandchildren, her grand daughter-in-law and her 2 great grandchildren.

Sally was predeceased by her loving husband Jerry who passed in 1996 and her daughter, Shelli Phillips who passed in 2016.

Family and friends are invited to visit with Sally's family on Monday July 28th, 2025 at 10am until 12pm with a memorial service following the visitation at 12pm in Princetown Church 3662 Gifford's Church Road, Duanesburg.
