With extreme heavy hearts we announce the passing of our cherished Tara Marjorie Pitcher (Foster) on December 18, 2025. Though she fought harder than most knew, Tara has finally found peace. May God Rest Her Soul.
She is survived by her two children, Courtney Sperry and Carson Pitcher, her mother, Laurie Lawler (David) and Timothy Foster (Noreen), her sister Patricia Magin and her children Thomas and Tripp Murphy, the brother she never had Smurph, Step-Sisters Jessica, Melissa and Abby Lawler, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and many friends from all aspects of life, especially the "99ers"
Anyone who knew Tara knew that her children were the most important thing to her. Secondly would be, being a "TT" to her two nephews. Any baby or child in her presence took priority. She loved spending time with family. She loved any and all holidays to have everyone together and reminiscing. She had a love for the outdoors, especially fall- and anything pumpkin. She always wanted her Wooden Trinket work to be seen. She also loved running late, being last minute, and thrived on being rushed. Her beauty was unmatched, her laugh was infectious, she lit up the room as cliche as it sounds. Those who knew her truly treasured her existence.
Family and friends are invited to visit with Tara's family in the Fredendall Funeral Home, 199 Main Street, Altamont on Tuesday December 30th from 5-8pm. A time of remembrance we held at 7:30pm with a prayer service immediately following at 8pm.
