Windham-Jerry August passed away suddenly on July 4,2016 at Christmans Golf Course surrounded by many of his friends. He was born on Feb.4,1937 in Brooklyn NY the son of Victor and Katherine August. He is survived by his daughters Katherine and Andrea and his grandson Ethan. He was stricken at the golf course on his favorite holiday of the year while helping to prepare the parade float . He will be dearly missed by his family and many friends.
Calling hours will be held at Decker Funeral Home ,5312 Rt. 23 Windham NY on Thurs 7-7-16 from 4-8pm and on Friday 7-8-16 from 3:30-5:30pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Theresa's RC Church at 6PM. Interment will follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery,Ashland, NY
