December 1st, 2025 after battling cancer. He was 65 years old.
Born on August 5th, 1960 in Faribault, MN, then moved to Lawndale, CA shortly thereafter. Bill loved being outdoors, especially riding his bike and playing baseball. He was a fast shortstop and coached several teams to championships. After moving back to Minnesota, he cheered on the Twins with our neighbor, Lois Paulson. In 1990, the family moved to Albany area where he enjoyed living in Berne. He was a big fan of the Buffalo Bills and followed them faithfully. Bill also enjoyed his rock bands, especially AC/DC and Def Leppard. You could usually find him playing air guitar and singing ! Bill proudly earned his GED in 1994. He was last employed by Newkirk Products and Mailworks where he was a machine operator. He liked working and made many friends over those years.
He was pre-deceased by his parents Dennis Casey and Lennette Reed and his maternal grandmother, whom he was especially close to, Clara Ott. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Laura, his 3 sons, Bryan (Kristen) Casey, Kyle (Nicole Mann) Casey and Tyler (Sarah Cummins) Casey. Bill adored his "Munchkin" granddaughter, Teghan and his grandson, Tacoma.
