William C Spry

William C. Spry "Bill" of Clifton Park passed away peacefully from this life to be in the presence of the Lord January 29th,2023. He was 87. Born in Schenectady, Bill was the son of the late Robert Henry Spry and Johanna Emma Louise Pudack-Spry. Bill leaves behind the love of his life of 33 years Elaine Jeram.

Bill was a proud graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with his Bachelor of Electrical Engineering in 1957. Following his educational career, he began his long professional career with New York Telephone (later Verizon) until his retirement. Bill answered the call to serve his country in the Air National Guard of New York and the Air Force Reserve. Bill was an avid collector of antiques and enjoyed cooking and traveling both internationally and domestically.

In addition to Elaine, Bill is survived by his daughters Susan (John) Sheppard and Amy (Arvel) Preston both of Lynchburg Virginia; and seven grandchildren.

Bill will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Services were held privately. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Altamont in the Spry family plot in the Spring.
